While the events of the past year have been daunting for public health officials, the future is less bleak. U.N. Ebola Chief Dr. David Nabarro hopes that with improved public health responses, the outbreak will be contained within the next few months. In fact, by December 1st, the U.N. aims to have 70% of cases contained. Within a year, Dr. Nabarro hopes to eradicate the disease.
